I am Gabriel Gyedu Okyere, a 23-year-old boy who works as a national service personnel for AngloGold Ashanti Malaria Control Limited in Ghana's Ashanti Region. After reading the blog's title and my age, one would wonder how a young man like me might have many experiences to share. I do have a lot, though. By God's Grace, I've lived in Senegal for four years and, the Gambia for six months. I've worked as a hostel manager, construction site laborer, salesperson, plantain chips seller, plumber, and carpenter, and I've been tutoring my peers from primary all the way to the university. I've had roughly four near-death experiences and wrote Wassce Nov/Dec three times. I've had the chance to interact with tens of thousands of people and learn about their diverse cultures.
The purpose of this blog is to tell stories. Of course, not just my stories. Others have much more exciting stories!!!! I'll obviously allow others to share their experiences on this platform; after all, a million lessons are better than a thousand; we all need to learn from each other's stories. This blog aims to share amusing, humorous, and heartbreaking stories that will help us learn valuable lessons for the rest of our lives and help us grow into the great men and women we are meant to become. Every week, there will be an experience or a narrative and there will be time allocated for us all to share our stories.
